The Buddy Holly Story at Drury Lane

Experience the music and legacy of rock and roll pioneer Buddy Holly in The Buddy
Holly Story at Drury Lane. This entertaining production follows Holly’s journey from
his humble beginnings in Texas to his rapid rise to stardom and tragic death at just 22
years old. Before the performance, enjoy a plated lunch featuring Caesar salad, your
choice of Cheese Ravioli or Grilled Chicken Breast, and Cheesecake with Raspberry
Coulis for dessert. Coffee, soft drinks, and hot or iced tea are included.
Transportation via LITH bus. Limited walking required. Registration / cancellation

Starved Rock Land & Water Tour

Back by popular demand! If you missed previous chances, don't worry! We are revisiting
the #1 attraction in the State of Illinois- Starved Rock State Park. On this tour we will
begin our day at the rustic Starved Rock Lodge for lunch in the Main Dining Room. You
will have the opportunity to make a menu selection from several savory options. Hot or
iced tea, lemonade, or a soft drink are included. Now we begin our tour of the area. Half of
your tour will be spent on a boat ride (weather dependent) on the Illinois River learning
about the rich culture and lush wildlife of the area. The other half will be a land tour of
popular sites to visit and learn about on a Trolley. We will finish back at the Lodge where
you can shop the gift shop or the sweet shop. Come and see all the splendor and history of
Starved Rock. Transportation via LITH bus. Moderate walking on uneven surfaces
