Decorating Contest
December 16-22

Santa
$3 for Residents,
$6 for Non-Residents
The winter holidays seem to bring out the
best in decorations and we want to be the
judge! Enter the Lake in the Hills Holiday
House Decorating Contest for your chance to
win a gift certificate and bragging yard sign
(entered houses can only win one award).
Bing Crosby Award, Light up the Village
Award, Rocking Around the Tree Award and
Judges Choice. Voting runs from Tuesday,
December 16 through Monday, December
22. Winners will be annouced on the Village
website and social media channels.
Registration deadline is December 14.
Sign up your child to receive a handwritten
letter from Santa. Register each child that
would like to receive a letter. Must register
by December 7, 2026. An email will be sent
out with more information after registration.
Holiday Lights
Bus Tour
Thursday, December 17
5:30 pm - 7:30 pm $10
Travel around Lake in the Hills to see sights and lights
while serving as a judge for the Holiday House
Decorating Contest. This tour fills up quickly,
so reserve your spot today! Registration deadline
is 3 days prior to the start date.
Day Off School
WINTER BREAK
Hey parents, don't know what to do with your
kids during break? Sign them up for Day Off
School where they will go on a field trip and
part take in activities upon return.
Space is limited so sign up today! Registration
deadline is Monday, December 14.
