Random Acts of Recreation – July Fun!
Random Acts of Recreation are POPping up in parks across
Lake in the Hills on Fridays, July 17, 24, and 31 as the REC2U
Team hits the road to celebrate 30 years Growing Smiles
during National Parks & Recreation Month!
We’ll be making random park appearances with 30th
anniversary swag, sweet treats, and fun photo props so you
can snap a pic and join the celebration. Stop by to say hello,
meet the team, and share your ideas for what you’d love to
see happening this fall.
POP-up locations and times will be announced on the Village
of Lake in the Hills social media the day before—so keep your
eyes open… we might be POPping up near you!

vibes. Come ready to celebrate big —
because in just 30 minutes, we’re

Join us to celebrate 30
years of growing smiles
with stories, songs, rhymes,
and fun stops along the
way. Strollers and wagons
are welcome. We will meet
under the pavilion at
Barbara Key Park. The
paved trail is approximately
half a mile long.
