Learn to identify different fish species
found in Illinois, tie fisherman knots and
how to rig up your pole to catch them.
Includes basic tackle kit, fish identification
cards and fisherman’s journal.
This class will teach you the basics of tying
knots, casting, unhooking fish and baiting
the hook. All equipment/bait is provided,
participants 6 and under must be
accompanied by an adult.

Each session focuses on a different fish species commonly
found in Illinois. Tackle kit/Bait specific to that species
included. Rod combo available for purchase separately.
