Volo Museum & Lunch at Lindy's

Explore the extensive auto collection of some of the rarest, most
fascinating and bizarre mechanical marvels in the museum’s
collections. Peruse the Antique Museum for rare finds and dive into
the Titanic Exhibit where you step in the world of the early 20th
century where wealth and dreams of a better life collide. The
museum showcases an unbelievable $6 million dollar collection of
some of the rarest Titanic era. Following our visit to Volo, we will
head to Lindy’s Landing for lunch overlooking Bangs Lake. Extensive
walking on this trip. Transportation via LITH bus. Registration

Kentucky Derby: History
and Traditions lecture & lunch
Wednesday, April 30, 10:30 am - 3:30 pm $72
Beginning in 1875, the Kentucky Derby is the oldest continuously
running sports event in the nation. Put on your fanciest hat, and
join us as historian Leslie Goddard traces the history of the Derby
and the traditions that make it so beloved. This presentation at the
Jacob Henry Mansion in Joliet includes a self-guided tour and a
fantastic lunch featuring the Derby’s famous Hot Brown.
Transportation via 14- passenger bus. Moderate walking.

Cats at the Paramount Theater
Wednesday, May 14, 11:00 am - 5:30 pm $55
The most beloved musical in theater history brings the colorful world
of Cats to the stage. Inspired by a collection of poems by T.S. Eliot,
Cats, the iconic musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber, is a well-loved
fantastical journey into the world of Jellicle Cats. More than 40 years
since its release on Broadway, Cats enchants a new generation of
audiences with its imaginative storytelling and groundbreaking
theatrical flair. Light on dialog, but full of captivating dance, rousing
music and singsong poetry, the show won the Tony for Best Musical
and Best Original Score. Transportation is by LITH bus. Minimal
walking involved with this trip. Registration deadline is April 23 and
refunds will not be issued after the deadline.
