Cirque Du Soleil - OVO

OVO is a headlong rush into a colorful ecosystem
teeming with life, where insects work, eat, crawl,
flutter, play, fight and look for love in a non-stop riot
of energy and movement. The insects' home is a
world of biodiversity and beauty filled with noisy
action and moments of quiet emotion.
Transportation via 14- passenger bus. Moderate
walking. No refunds on this show. Registration taken
until tickets are sold out.
Waitress at the Paramount Theater
Wednesday, February 19, 12:00 pm - 5:30 pm $55
What is more American than apple pie? A small-town waitress with
a dream and the ingredients for success! Sugar, butter, flour. These
aren’t the only ingredients Jenna, a waitress and expert pie maker,
uses to make her famous pies. Stuck in a small town and a loveless
marriage, Jenna unexpectedly becomes pregnant, and then finds
acceptance and love in the most unexpected place. Hoping to bake
her way out of her troubles, she puts her heart and soul into her
unique pies, winning over anyone who tastes them. Nominated for
four Tony Awards. Transportation is by LITH bus. Minimal walking
involved with this trip. Registration deadline is January 22 and
refunds will not be issued after the deadline.
Shedd Aquarium Adventure
Thursday, February 27, 8:15 am - 5:00 pm $110
Look nature in the eye and discover the wonder of the aquatic
animal world at Shedd Aquarium. Our group will be able to mingle
through the Shedd exhibits and even catch an hour movie about
Chicago’s very own Penguins. We will have lunch vouchers for
each participant to take to the extensive café and chose your own
items. The fee includes admissions to the Aquarium and exhibits,
the lunch voucher and motor-coach transportation. Walking is
self-paced and will be moderate to extensive. Motor-Coach
Transportation will be from Cary Park District Community
Center. Registration deadline is February 7.
