MORTON ARB ORETUM
Wednesday, June 26 8:15 am - 3:30 pm $44
The Arboretum features plant collections and gardens amid
natural landscapes of woodlands, prairie, lakes, and streams. Its
living collections include 222,000 plant specimens representing
4,650 different kinds of plants. During your day, walk the grounds
to experience beautiful gardens and take a guided tram tour. The
one-hour narrated tour winds you through the Arboretum’s
various landscapes. Purchase lunch on your own at the Ginko
Restaurant & Café located in the Visitor Center. Extensive walking
on this trip. Transportation via recreation bus. Registration
deadline June 19 (spaces permitting).
MILITARY TOUR
Wednesday, July 10 8:30 am - 5:30 pm $108
Uncle Sam wants YOU not to miss this tour! We will start the
day heading to the Dunn Museum for a 45-minute guided tour
followed by time to browse the various galleries on your own.
For lunch, we will be heading to (Waiting on 4 different places
to keep our costs at this). After lunch we will head to the
National Museum of the American Soldier for a presentation
and tour and then to Ft. Sheridan for a guided
