We are rollin' thru the hills and bringing fun to your
neighborhood parks!! Join us for games, contests, crafts, and fun
in this non-structured, free play environment! Please let us know
you’re coming by securing a ticket for each person attending.
Each date will feature different activities from our mobile rec van
so get your tickets for all the dates!

Nature Hike with the McHenry
County Conservation District
Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023, 10 am, Plote Field
Enjoy the fresh, crisp autumn air by joining McHenry County
Conservation District staff to learn about the natural histories of plants
and animals along the Prairie Trail and take a glimpse at a prairie the
District manages. Please pre-register by October 4 for this free activity
so we can plan for the appropriate number of participants.
School Day Off Fun Day
Monday, Oct. 9 11am Sunset Park $3R / $5 NR
Join the Recreation Team at Sunset Park for a School Day off Fun
Day! Starting at 11am we will have awesome activities to
participate in, like: bubble soccer, foot pool, life-size Angry Birds,
crafts, scavenger hunt and more! You can also cheer on your
favorite rider at the skate jam (additional fee to participate). We
will take participants the day of, but please help us plan our day by
pre-registering by October 6.
REC 2NIGHT
Join your neighbors and the Parks and
Recreation Department for this free
community-building event. Enjoy with
your friends and family-provided
activities, games, community resources,
and more for all ages.
