PARAMOUNT THEATER - LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS

Join us on Skid Row as meek and mild Seymour
Krelborn makes a living at the local flower shop. Until
one day, he discovers a strange and unusual plant he
names Audrey II – one that feeds on human blood.
Lunch will be on your own and self-pay at a local
restaurant determined closer to the performance
date. Registration deadline is September 8.
Transportation via Parks & Recreation bus. Minimal
walking required.
OKTOBERFEST MISSISSIPPI CRUISE
Thursday September 28, 2023 7 am - 5 pm $91
Enjoy an October cruise down the Mississippi River. We will be
taking a Park District Bus to Moline, IL to board the Celebration
Belle river boat and have lunch. Halfway to Moline, we will be
stopping in Ashton, IL for breakfast at the Huddle Café. Once we
have filled our bellies, we will continue towards the Mighty
Mississippi and Moline. We will load the boat and enjoy a captain
narrated 90 minute cruise includes a hot buffet lunch. On our
way home we will stop for a self-pay sweet treat break.
Transportation via Parks & Recreation bus. Moderate walking
involved with this trip. Registration deadline is August 24th and
no refunds will be given after that date.
FIRESIDE THEATER - TITANIC THE MUSICAL

Titanic. The very name signals one of the most enduring events of
the Twentieth Century. TITANIC is the 1997 Broadway Musical that
won five Tony Awards including Best Musical. Soaring songs, grand
staging, and a set awash in glorious costumes make this historic
musical a must-see event. It traces the lives of all the varied strata of
people uniquely united on that fateful journey, with the central
character being the Titanic herself. TITANIC is a human drama that
explores and reveals individual strength, love faith, and especially
the triumph of human dignity. Don’t miss this musical, which is as
unforgettable as the historic event itself. Dinner included.
