Lake in the Hills Fishing
Tournament in memory
of Connor Kincaid
Saturday, August 16 7:00 am-12:00 pm
Ages 15 & up $12 Pre-registered,
$15 day-of registration
The Annual Lake in the Hills Fishing
Tournament, in memory of Connor Kincaid,
celebrates the sport of fishing, enjoying
nature, and taking time to slow down for a
day. Anglers will check in at the Hain House
anytime between 7am and 10am to receive
their tournament goodie bag and instructions
for submitting photo entries. Winners will be
announced via the Village website and social
media on Monday, August 18. Preregistration deadline is 8/13.
Storytime and More with AAPLD

Sunset Park (Splash Pad Area)

Join the AAPLD Librarians at the Sunset Park Splash
Pad at 10:15 am for a fun filled storytime filled with
stories, songs, and dancing. Stay and Play with the
REC2U staff from 10:45 am until 11:45 am.
Community Picnic at Summer Sunset Festival
Immediately following the parade on Saturday, August 30
Join your neighbors for a Community Picnic on the Festival Grounds.
• Family Bingo and Picnic Games brought to you
by the LITH Parks and Recreation Department.
• Lunch Specials at the food tents.
• Dueling Pianos will perform 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm
under the Dining Tent

Cancelations due to inclement weather will be determined two hours before the start of the event. Participants who
have pre-registered will be notified via Community Pass through email and/or text listed on family account.
