FISHING 101
Session 1 - September 9-23, $68
Session 2 - September 30 - October 21, $85
5:30 pm - 6:30 pm Ages 8 & up
Each session will focus on a different species of
fish commonly caught in Illinois. You will learn
how to rig the different knots, techniques, live
and artificial baits to catch the targeted
species. All equipment and bait provided.
GET HOOKED FISHING
Session 1 - September 9-23, $85
Session 2 - September 30 - October 21, $102
5:30 - 6:30 pm Ages 2 & up
The Basics class will teach you the basics of
casting, unhooking fish, and baiting the hook.
All equipment and bait provided. Participants
6 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
4 week class, 1 hr session per week.
FAMILY HIKE W/ MCHENRY
COUNTY CONSERVATION DISTRICT
Wednesday, September 18 6:00 pm FREE
Come explore the trails of Barbara Key Park with McHenry County
Conservation District staff. This park is adjacent to an Illinois Nature
Preserve and a Conservation District site. Discover nature during this early
fall hike in the prairie to learn a bit about the animals and plants that call this
place home. Learn about some the projects to protect this location and what
is special about a fen! Registration deadline is September 15.
Registration deadline is 3 days prior to start date
