REMEMBERING MARSHALL FIELDS
AT HOLIDAY TIME

For many Chicagoans, no holiday season is complete without a visit to
Marshall Fields, the city9s grand dame of department stores. Leslie
Goddard will provide us with an illustrative presentation tracing the
store9s beloved holiday traditions including, the walnut room tree,
window displays and Christmas catalog. This matinee event takes place at
the historic Jacob Henry Mansion Estate in Joliet and includes a selfguided tour and lunch, which includes a garden salad, warm rolls, your
choice of chicken pot pie or traditional meat loaf, dessert and coffee or tea
(cash bar available). Transportation via 14 passenger bus. Moderate
walking. Registration deadline is October 15.
FIRESIDE THEATER - MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET
Thursday, November 21, 9:00 am - 6:30 pm $120
Join us at the Fireside Dinner Theatre in Ft. Atkinson, Wisconsin for
a must have holiday experience. Lunch is served before the show and
